Jodana is a sustainable ecosystem of cooktops and accessories that adapt to the user's needs. It meets the needs of both the individual and the family in the short and long term while also extending the product's life cycle. Additional cooktops and accessories can be added to fulfill the user's needs.

How might we create sustainable experiences in the cooking environment?

The exploration consisted of a set of different geometrical shapes aiming for horizontal modularity that enabled users to grow their ecosystem in different directions and patterns.

We, as a team, saw how families facing migration have different rituals and traditions, and for this reason adding new features was a core requirement.

Once families living apart get reunited again, they can integrate their modules into a single one, avoiding buying new ones and disposing of old ones.
Jodana is a growing ecosystem of cooktops that adapts to the user’s needs. It allows for being complemented by additional hobs, hoods, stands, and other controls enabling long-term growth of the ecosystem.
The front module is where the brains are. All functions can be easily accessed through the multifunction knob.
The copper details are inspired in the Indian culture, resembling aspirational goals and ownership.
The cooker hood is integrated seamlessly with the cooktop, filtering fumes and particles that might pollute the air.
